Becoming Backyard Birders

This grant will be used to purchase a birdwatching kit for each student in my upcoming classes.  The kits can be used every year. I'd like to form an informal bird watching club to promote STEM skills. Each kit has good, child-sized binoculars, a bird identification booklet, and plans for building bird houses.  The grant will also be used to purchase a WiFi Camera Bird Feeder that can be used by all students at Level Green for observations throughout the school year.  

Field Trip Season has commenced.
